Co-op for spring/summer (March 2018- Sept 2018) cycle:

Currently, AID has two opening for Co-op positions. The Co-ops will take the role of field engineers performing soil compaction testing, concrete inspection, and Asphalt inspection. Training will be provided. Nature of work environment: Both professional office setting and field work. Physical conditions: Be capable of performing outdoor fieldwork. Required work hours: 8 hours a day starting between 7:00am to 9:00am and 40 hours per week. See conditions below. Seasonal aspects anticipated (i.e. overtime, shiftwork): Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required. The rare overtime hours rate will be the same as regular the rate.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Must be a college student candidate for Civil Engineering degree
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must have good organizational skills, be reliable, detail oriented, and capable of taking initiative
• Good communication skills required
• Previous internship or co-op experience in similar type work is a plus
• Experience working with public agencies and/or municipal government is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
